Theresa is a Registered Veterinary Technician and started working with us in 2001 after receiving a degree in Biological Science. She is a native Californian and lived in Petaluma since the mid '90s. Theresa has two pets: Wally Pierre (pictured) and Gigi. She has wanted to work in the medical field since childhood and she's the most senior member of our staff.
Miya is also a long time northern Californian, growing up in San Rafael before relocating to Petaluma. She started working with animals well over a decade ago and brings this love of animals with her to WSVC! Miya has two cats - Aiko and Sylvester - and a dog - Bubba - and enjoys every kind of outdoor activity imaginable.
Erica moved to California from Michigan and has been with us at Washington Square since 2006. She has always loved being surrounded by animals of all kinds. She and her husband have three cats - Tommy, Jerry, and Tweetie - and want to have a dog and a horse, too!
Liz has been Registered Nurse - for 18 years! - and is a Veterinary Technician, arriving at Washington Square in December of 2008. Liz has two cats, Hobbes, an orange/cream tabby, and Jazzy, a gray tabby. She used to teach horseback riding,is an avid photographer, and enjoys playing the harmonica.
Kai was raised in Petaluma and has spent several years in the veterinary field and loves working with a wide variety of animals. Kai has two cats, Bunti and Emiko, and a retired horse named Duchess. She recently graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a degree in Fine Art Painting/Drawing where her favorite subjects are the Sonoma landscapes, still life and, you guessed it, animals. Horseback riding, hiking, ballet, and reading fill her spare time.

Keysha joined us in the spring of 2009 and is enrolled in the RVT program at SRJC. She and her husband have lived in the Petaluma area since mid-2007 and have four pets: Devante (Oldenburg gelding), Brianna (Chinese Crested dog), Cheetah (domestic short-hair tabby), and Storey (another domestic short-hair tabby). She likes to ride and explore nature in the Bay Area. If you're lucky you might see her doing a back flip off the back of her horse!
